Help Hackers Find iOS 5 Exploits for Untethered Jailbreak with Chronic Dev Team’s Chronic-Dev Reporter

What’s a faster way to find an exploit for an untethered jailbreak? That’s right, let everyone participate in finding possible exploits! You can participate by using Chronic Dev Team’s C-Dev Reporter.

Chronic Dev Team the hackers behind GreenPois0n which was used to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 just released an all new program which allows jailbreakers to send their iOS device crash reports straight to Chronic Dev Team’s secure server.
These reports can then be researched by the team and will help speed up in finding exploits to get an untethered jailbreak on iOS 5.
C-Dev Reporter also prevents iTunes from automatically sending crash reports to Apple.
Joshua Hill, the team lead of Chronic-Dev Team blogged on their website:
“At this point, the program copies all the crash reports off your device (which, under normal circumstances, would be sent right back to Apple), and instead sends this data to a secure, private server hosted by your friendly Chronic Dev team. Next, our program proceeds to neuter your copy of iTunes, simply by changing your settings to prevent your computer from sending any further diagnostic information from your device to Apple.”
The program is currently in beta stage and available for Mac-only. Windows version should come out anytime now.
